Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking an MRI Technologist to maintain a professional, caring atmosphere while handling a fast-paced clinical environment. The role includes imaging patients, administering intravenous contrast, and ensuring safety according to facility protocols.

The position offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and requires MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications with ARMRIT accepted in some locations. Work hours include midweek and weekend shifts with on-site responsibilities across Massachusetts

Qualifications

MRI scanning experience required.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
CPR certification required; ARRT certification standard; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.

Responsibilities

Follow policies, procedures and protocols to ensure patient safety.
Explain exam details to patients at their level of understanding.
Position patients accurately and ensure comfort.
Maintain visual and verbal contact with patients during exams.
Perform scans per center protocol and administer intravenous contrast when needed.
Complete required documentation in the Tech Data Entry system.
Provide films/CDs to patients and forward data to Radiologist after exams.
Assist clerical staff as needed and re-supply equipment and rooms.
