Job summary

Charlotte Radiology, P.A. seeks an experienced MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI scans with precision, safety, and compassion. You will verify orders, document patient histories, inject IV contrast as needed, and coordinate with Radiologists and PACS/IT to ensure seamless imaging distribution.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT MR and BLS credentials, an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology, and a strong commitment to patient care and safety. This is a day shift with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification and BLS
• MRI technologist with patient care focus
• Ability to work with IV contrast
• Knowledge of MRI safety procedures
• Ability to follow protocols and document accurately

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire quality images under physician orders
• Verify orders and ensure accuracy; communicate with Radiologist on protocol changes
• Complete paperwork including orders, labs, and authorization
• Perform IV GBCA injections when required
• Maintain QA documentation and supplies; keep a clean work area
• Communicate with Radiologist and PACS/IT for imaging distribution
• Ensure radiation safety and patient monitoring during procedures
