Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology or MR Imaging program.
• High School Graduate required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of human anatomy and physiology, pathology, pharmacology, medical terminology, MR technique, and patient positioning for MR.
• Prepare patients for procedures and address their needs during examinations.
• Perform venipuncture and manage intravenous access; administer medications as prescribed.
• Select pulse sequences per established protocols and data acquisition factors.
• Evaluate MR images for quality and correct patient identification.
• Adhere to ACR MR safety guidelines and MR area access restrictions.
