Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist for PRN shifts in the NE Outpatient setting, with potential coverage at Kingwood CCC. Shifts are 6:30a–6:30p on weekdays and weekends, with a 3-shift per 6-week schedule, planned a month in advance.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program, BLS certification, and ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification. Lifting patients and collaborating with a care team are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT MR certification required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and prepare patients for exams.
• Explain procedures and position patients; administer contrast when needed.
• Ensure technical quality of scans and monitor patient data.
• Perform quality assurance on MRI equipment and related systems.
• Adhere to safety and department policies; assist with emergencies.
