Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System seeks an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures, prepare patients, position them for scanning, and ensure high-quality images for radiologists.

Standard schedule includes weekday coverage with approximately 5 shifts per month; must graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and hold BLS/ALS certification with ARRT-MR or ARMRIT registration, and demonstrate safe patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients to perform job functions.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures on patients, positions them for the MRI scanner, and ensures technical quality of the scan.
• Enter and monitor patient data; perform quality assurance on MRI equipment.
• Maintains safety, timeliness, and alignment with department policies; supports ongoing education.
