Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time MRI technologist (PRN) to cover AM, PM and overnight shifts at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital - MRI. The role involves positioning patients, selecting technical factors, post-processing, and coordinating with PACS and radiologists.

Qualified candidates will have 2 years radiology or MRI program experience, ARRT or ARMRIT certification, and CPR certification. Stroke care training annually is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 yrs Radiology or MRI program graduate.
• ARRT Registry or ARMRIT.
• 1 hour annually in stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Positioning and immobilization of patients; select optimal technical factors for MRI scans.
• Post-processing of computer data to enhance image quality; operate MRI workstation and PACS.
• Documentation for department records; patient statistics, supplies, and billing information.
