Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist for FT Worth. The role requires performing MRI imaging exams under supervision, ensuring safety, protocol adherence, and coordination with physicians and biomed staff.

Involves patient screening, contrast management, and documentation of results. Applicants should have BLS, ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, and MRI experience.

Qualifications

• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required by first day of employment.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required by first day of employment.
• 2 years MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review orders for accuracy and MRI protocol suitability.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and discuss contraindications with radiologist as needed.
• Perform MRI imaging and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Assist with post-processing and QC on MRI systems and workstations.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during exam and transport.
