Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an MRI Tech PRN for our Texas Health Southwest facility in Fort Worth, TX. This role focuses on imaging procedures, patient care, and maintaining high quality MRI workflows in a radiology setting.

The position requires graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program or an associate’s degree, with 1 year of medical imaging experience and MRI experience preferred. CLIA compliance and relevant ARRT/ARMRIT/NMTCB/CMRT certifications are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required or an Associate's Degree preferred.
• Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required.
• 1 year medical imaging experience required and 1 year MRI experience preferred.
• Licenses and Certifications required at hire: ARRT MR, ARRT R/CT/N/N or CNMT; ARMRIT; NMTCB CNMT; CMRT as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures to patient or guardian prior to exam.
• Position patient to the correct anatomical area.
• Perform complex MRI procedures with age-related criteria.
• Adjust technique parameters for age-related factors.
• Assist radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout imaging procedures.

BCLS - Basic Life Support
