UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas/Fort Worth is seeking a MRI Technologist to work under minimal supervision with physicians to perform MRI imaging exams, protocols, accreditation, operations, and equipment maintenance.

The role requires ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification and BLS, with basic life support; 2 years MRI experience preferred. You will collaborate with radiologists and physicists to ensure accurate, high-quality imaging and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required by first day of employment.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification required by hire.
• Preferred: 2 years MRI experience.

Responsabilités

• Review physician orders for MRI accuracy and safety, screen patients for MRI eligibility and contraindications.
• Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
• Perform quality control and ensure compliance with accreditation standards and safety procedures.
• Assist with patient preparation, monitoring, and post-processing of images as needed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and physicists to optimize imaging protocols and ensure timely imaging workflows.
