Job summary

Texas Orthopedic Hospital is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to support MRI services under the supervision of the MRI Supervisor. The role involves patient preparation, performing MRIs, and assisting in related radiology procedures.

You will help maintain equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in call coverage as needed. The position requires ARMRIT/ARRT MR or RT certifications within specified timeframes and CPR/BLS.

Qualifications

• Certification within specified timelines (30 days for CPR/BLS; 6 months for MR/RT credentials).
• Active ARMRIT/ARRT MR or RT/R and CPR/BLS are required within stated windows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain department equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Complete patient logs, charge requisitions, and related paperwork.
• Ensure safety to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Assist in data collection and performance-improvement activities.
• Participate in rotating call schedule for continuous service.
