Job summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a skilled MRI technologist to work closely with physicians to perform imaging exams, ensure safety, and manage protocol accuracy. Qualifications

• Licenses: BLS (AHA/ARC) on hire.
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification on hire.
• 2 years MRI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review orders for accuracy and MRI protocol suitability; discuss with radiologist when needed.
• Screen patients and obtain medical history related to the exam and IV contrast.
• Perform MRI exams, ensure safety, and document results in EHR.
• Administer contrast as appropriate and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Perform QC tests and coordinate with biomed/engineers.
• Post-process images (MIP, MPR, 3D rendering) and assist training.
