Nutex Health is seeking an MRI Technologist (PRN) to provide high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, performing MRI scans, and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR.

You will administer contrast when needed and maintain competence through ongoing training. Requirements include ARRT certification, BLS, and at least 1 year of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT certification and BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in a hospital setting.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform MRI procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
• Explain the procedure and address any questions or concerns.
• Administer contrast materials when necessary.
• Position patients correctly in the MRI scanner.
• Select imaging techniques based on patient needs.
• Enter and monitor patient data in the EMR system.
• Maintain competencies and demonstrate safe equipment use.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and assist with documentation or audits related to MRI services.
