Job summary

Nutex Health, Inc. Sherman Red River Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist (PRN) to support MRI procedures with a patient-centered approach.

You will prepare patients and equipment, perform scans, and ensure high-quality imaging while addressing patient questions and safety concerns. The role requires a high school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred), ARRT certification, BLS, and at least one year of hospital experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate degree in radiology or related field preferred.
• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year related hospital imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
• Explain the procedure and address questions or concerns.
• Administer contrast materials when necessary.
• Position patients correctly in the MRI scanner.
• Select imaging techniques based on patient needs.
• Enter and monitor patient data in the EMR system.
• Maintain competencies and demonstrate proficiency in procedures and safe equipment use.
• Participate in QA activities and assist with documentation or audits.
