Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required for MRI technologist.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of one year of related experience in a hospital setting.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures with high-quality imaging results.
• Prepare patients for MRI examinations and explain procedures.
• Administer contrast materials when necessary.
• Position patients correctly in the MRI scanner.
• Enter and monitor patient data in the EMR system.
• Maintain competencies and safe equipment use; participate in QA and documentation.
