Job summary

Methodist Richardson Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging in a high-volume setting in Richardson, TX. You will assist radiologists and nurses, perform venipuncture when needed, and participate in sedation cases as part of comprehensive imaging services.

• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Work Experience: 1 year required or ARRT (R) with MR license within 1 year of orientation.

Your Job: In this highly technical allied imaging professional position, you‘ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services, which include ultrasound, CT scan, PET scan, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. The primary purpose of the MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. In addition, he/she performs venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.

Your Job Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
• Current Basic Life Support certification
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist certification - ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT
• Texas Department of State Health certification
• Work Experience: 1 year required
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation
