Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center welcomes an MRI Technologist to join a highly technical imaging service team. The role covers routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging, including ultrasound, CT, PET, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine.

This position requires a 1-year radiologic technologist background, BLS, and ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, with Texas State health certification. On-site hospital environment serving the Dallas area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists MR certification or ARMRIT.
• Texas Department of State Health certification.
• Work Experience: 1 year required.
• Or ARRT (R); employee will be required to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation.

The primary purpose of the MRI Technologist position is to perform routine, specialized and interventional MRI imaging. In addition, he/she performs venipuncture when indicated and assists the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases.
