Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an MRI Technologist for PRN shifts. The role focuses on performing MRI imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting daily operations in the diagnostic imaging department.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT registration (MRI eligible within six months), BLS certification, and at least one year of experience. This position is on-site and offers flexible PRN scheduling to fit departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Current ARRT registration or eligibility for MRI registration within six months of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification.
• One year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the overall operations of the MRI department.
• Assist the MRI Supervisor with day-to-day operations, including budgeting, equipment and personnel coordination.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan; deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians. They ensure the delivery of quality patient care and manage day-to-day activities in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do in This Role

• Facilitate the overall operations of the MRI department.

• Assist the MRI Supervisor with day-to-day operations, including:

  • Balancing budgetary constraints, equipment, and personnel needs.

  • Implementing quality improvement initiatives.

  • Ensuring exceptional care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan.

• Possess the ability to assess and address data reflective of the patient's age-specific needs.

• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.

• Registration/Certification:

  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

  • MRI registered or eligible for MRI registration within six months of hire.

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Experience: One year of experience preferred.
