Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an MRI Tech to perform MRI imaging and ensure high-quality patient care across adult to geriatric populations. The role supports department operations and collaborates with the MRI team to balance staffing and equipment needs.

Qualifications include ARRT certification, MRI registration within 6 months of hire, BLS, and a radiology tech education. One year of experience is preferred; schedules may include three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• MRI registered or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
• American Heart BLS (Basic Life Support).
• One year of experience preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures as ordered by a physician. This role involves day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care within a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

What You Will Do in This Role:

• Facilitate the operations of the MRI department.
• Assist the MRI Supervisor with the day-to-day operation of the department, balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement, and exceptional care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

• Education:Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Certifications/Licenses:
  • Current Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • MRI registered or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
