Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform imaging procedures in a diagnostic setting and to deliver high-quality patient care. You will help manage day-to-day MRI operations and support the MRI Supervisor, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program, ARRT registration or MRI registration eligibility within six months, and BLS certification; one year of experience is

• Current ARRT registration or eligible for MRI registration within six months of hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the overall operations of the MRI department.
• Assist the MRI Supervisor with day-to-day operations, including balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and address age-specific needs.
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while upholding patient rights and dignity.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by physicians. They ensure the delivery of quality patient care and manage day-to-day activities in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

• Facilitatethe overall operations of the MRI department.
• Assistthe MRI Supervisor with day-to-day operations, including:
  • Balancing budgetary constraints, equipment, and personnel needs.
  • Implementing quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring exceptional care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Demonstrateknowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan.
• Possessthe ability to assess and address data reflective of the patient's age-specific needs.
• Delivercompassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Education:Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
• Registration/Certification:
  • Current registration with theAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • MRI registeredor eligible for MRI registration within six months of hire.
  • American Heart AssociationBasic Life Support (BLS)certification.
• Experience:One year of experience preferred.
