Job summary

Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital is seeking an MRI technologist to perform diagnostic MR exams using advanced imaging equipment in a patient-centered care environment. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork within the Combined Outpatient Imaging department in Dearborn.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree, radiology accreditation, 1 year of relevant experience, and MRI/ARRT or ARMRIT certifications or equivalent board eligibility.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with JRCERT/JRCNMT accreditation required.
• 1 year of relevant clinical radiology experience preferred.
• MRI/ARRT or ARMRIT certifications required or upon hire.
• Several ARRT/ARDMS/NMTCB track options may apply; board eligibility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.
• Follow patient-centered care principles and Beaumont Patient & Family Centered Care.
• Maintain equipment and safety protocols per department policy.

Scope of Work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures perform diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent. Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program or the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) Required.
• 1 year of relevant experience. 1-3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
• CRT-American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI)-ARMRIT Certification Upon Hire Preferred or
• CRT-Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI_-ARRT-Certification Upon Hired Required or
• CRT-Radiation Therapist - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
• CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire Required Or
