Job summary

You will participate in ongoing training on positioning, technique, and MRI safety guidelines, supporting the radiology department's mission and values across multiple locations within the health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or MR Imaging program.
• ARRT MR certification or ARMRIT MRI technologist certification with transfer eligibility within 180 days.
• BLS/BCLS certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality MR images while ensuring patient safety.
• Prepare patients and assist during MR procedures.
• Perform venipuncture and manage IV access.
• Select pulse sequences per protocols and data acquisition needs.
• Evaluate images for quality and patient identification.
• Adhere to MR safety standards and screen for MR access.
