Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Non-degree program from an AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program (required).
• Minimum of 1 year experience as Radiology Technologist required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as MRI Technologist preferred.
• Registered Technologist (R) (MR) required and Basic Life Support required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI studies following set radiologists' protocols.
• Operates MRI scanner to produce images of consistent, high quality.
• Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate.
• Positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
• Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
