Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
Non Degree Program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program is Required.
1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required.
1 Year Experience As a MRI Technologist Preferred.
Reg Technologist (R) (MR) Required.
Basic Life Support Required.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI studies following set protocols established by the Radiologists.
Operate the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.
Prepare scan room and equipment as appropriate.
Position patient, coils, and equipment as required.
Maintain communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
Education
