Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies and ensure high-quality images. You will prepare the scan room, position patients and coils, and communicate with patients throughout the procedure.

ARRT MR certification is required within 2 years from the date of hire, with a strong emphasis on safety and protocol adherence in a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program.
• Certified radiologic technologist with MR exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI scanner following established radiologist protocol.
• Prepares scan room and equipment for procedures.
• Positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
• Maintains communication with patient throughout scanning.
