Job summary

Temple Health is seeking a Radiology MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies according to protocols set by Radiologists. The role requires operating the MRI to produce high-quality images and preparing the scan room and equipment. The technologist will position patients and coils while maintaining ongoing communication throughout the procedure.

ARRT MR certification is required within 2 years of hire. Education includes a high school diploma or equivalent and an AMA Radiologic Technology program

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Non Degree Program from an approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program required.
• ARRT MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by Radiologists.
• Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.
• Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate.
• Positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
• Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
