Job summary

Hmixray in Los Angeles is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our patient-centered imaging team. You will perform high-quality MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and assist with contrast administration while maintaining strict adherence to protocols.

We value compassionate communication, professionalism, and the ability to explain procedures to patients clearly. ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state radiologic license, and BLS are required, with at least one year of imaging experience

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, and FOV to optimize image quality.
• Guide patients and answer questions regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and on-site medications per policy.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect patient boundaries.
