Job summary

Atrium Health Lincoln is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures following department protocols and maintain high imaging quality. You will operate MRI scanners, assist the Radiologist, and manage patient safety and comfort throughout the exam.

The role requires ARRT MRI registry eligibility or ARMRIT progression within 1 year and CPR certification, with a focus on accurate documentation and teamwork in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI scanners and related equipment per department protocols.
• Verifies orders with Radiologist; identifies patient; prepares patient for exam.
• Acquires high-quality images with attention to safety and radiation protection.
• Commits to patient care; assists during procedures and code blue when needed.
