Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an MRI Technologist for the Kenilworth Radiology MRI center in Charlotte. The role is part-time (PRN) with a pay range of $42.00 per hour and requires graduation from a two-year Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program and ARRT/NMTCB MRI registry eligibility with BLS certification.

You will perform MRI scans, verify orders, ensure patient safety, and assist in procedures under Radiologist supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited two-year AMA approved Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program or active enrollment in an ARMRIT/ARRT MRI registry eligible program.
• ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine with ARMRIT/ARRT MRI advanced registry within 1 year.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Examine requests and verify orders; refer discrepancies to Radiologist.
• Identify patients and prepare them for procedures with explanations.
• Review medical history and correlate results with exam being performed.
• Conduct MRI scans and assist physicians/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and proper sterile technique.
