Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, North Carolina, is seeking an MRI Technologist I for the Kenilworth Radiology MRI suite. This part-time position requires operating MRI scanners and associated equipment, following departmental protocols.

You will verify orders, prepare patients, perform scans, and assist during procedures while upholding radiation safety and patient care standards. ARRT MRI registry eligibility and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
• MRI registry eligible or ARMRIT program required; registry must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders before performing exam.
• Properly identify and assist patients; provide procedure explanations.
• Perform MRI scanning and assist physicians during invasive procedures.
• Adheres to radiation safety and infection control policies.
