Job summary

Advocate Aurora Health in Charlotte, NC seeks an MRI Technologist I to operate MRI scanners per protocol, assess patient history, and ensure safety throughout exams. The role includes preparing patients, administering contrast where required, and coordinating with Radiologists for accurate results.

Expect full-time hours with a 36-hour workweek, Tues–Fri 7am–4:30pm; pay range listed from $35.50 to $53.25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligibility or ARMRIT enrollment required; registry within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment per department protocols.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; obtain informed consent and history.
• Prepare and monitor patients; document procedures and contrast administration.
• Maintain safety and sterility; assist in code blue and emergencies as needed.
