RWJBarnabas Health is seeking an MRI Technician to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in the Ambulatory Care Center. You will ensure patient comfort, explain procedures, and deliver precise MR scans under physician direction.

The role requires NJ State licensure or ARMRIT in conjunction with ARRT, BLS certification, and a commitment to safety and continuous learning in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology or accredited school of MRI technology.
• Licensed by the State of New Jersey or ARMRIT accepted in conjunction with ARRT
• Maintains required BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider through American Heart Association

Mansioni

• Assists Physicians as needed
• Assists in the orientation of new staff and/or students
• Competent in the use of RIS & PACS system, and other IT programs utilized
• Maintains a neat, clean and stocked work area
• Obtains proper medical history and ensures accurate patient demographic and medical information
• Performs all standard techniques for procedure protocols
• Recognizes the significance of all structures visualized and differentiates normal from abnormal
• Reports equipment problems to supervising Technologist
• May perform other duties as assigned or directed by management
