Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Texas is seeking an MRI Technologist, supervised by a Radiologist, to perform MRI procedures on patients according to exam protocols. You will collaborate with physicians to diagnose disease and injury while ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include producing high-quality images, using AIDET to communicate with patients, preparing patients, maintaining equipment, and documenting procedures while following safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION - High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 year of experience.
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - ARMRIT or ARRT credentials required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to exam protocol and maintains imaging quality.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET to identify needs and ensure understanding of the test.
• Positions patients and equipment, adjusting immobilization and exposure factors as needed.
