Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Waxahachie, TX is seeking an MRI Technologist, supervised by a Radiologist, to perform MRI procedures on patients and follow established protocols.

You will use AIDET to communicate, prepare patients and equipment, uphold safety and infection-control standards, maintain imaging records, and collaborate with engineers to ensure optimal operation in a fast-paced radiology department.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• ARMRIT, ARRT-MR, or ARRT-R certification required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol.
• Communicates with patients using AIDET and explains the test.
• Prepare the patient and area for the procedure.
• Protects patients by following safety and infection-control policies.
• Maintains equipment and work area and reports issues.
• Obtains and maintains relevant documentation.
• Maintains medical imaging records in the appropriate system.
