Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking an MRI Technologist at Round Rock Medical Center. You will perform MRI procedures supervised by a Radiologist, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

The role requires completing MRI exams, communicating with patients using AIDET, and maintaining records and equipment. Eligible candidates should have an HS diploma or GED and MRI certification (ARRT MR/ARMRIT) is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience.
• Certification in MRI: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or ARRT(R) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients and establish rapport.
• Prepares patient and area for procedure, positions patient and adjusts equipment.
• Maintains safety, infection-control, and radiation policies.
• Maintains equipment and work areas, reports issues to management.
• Verifies and maintains patient documentation and imaging records.
