Job summary

You will communicate with patients using AIDET, prepare and position patients, protect with safety policies, and maintain equipment and records. This role emphasizes high-quality imaging, dose monitoring, teamwork, and adaptability across age groups.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform high-quality radiology procedures following exam protocol.
• Ability to communicate with patients using AIDET and build rapport.
• Capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality radiology procedures according to exam protocol and maintains image quality.
• Monitors radiation dose and applies safety policies; intervenes if dose exceeds reference levels.
• Uses AIDET to communicate with patients, identifies needs, and builds rapport.
• Prepares the patient and area, positions the patient, adjusts exposure factors, and ensures correct exam is performed.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards; collaborates with engineers/physicists as needed.
• Maintains medical imaging records in the department system and ensures timely documentation.
• Screens patients per approved policies and assists in maintaining supplies inventory.
