Job summary

The MRI Technologist, supervised by a Radiologist, performs MRI procedures for diagnosing disease and injury in the Radiology department at Baylor Scott & White Health Waxahachie TX. You will prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, verify patient history, follow safety protocols, and document findings.

You will communicate with patients using AIDET, maintain clean, ready work areas, and ensure timely, high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Performs MRI procedures following established protocols.
• Communicates procedure details to patients using AIDET.
• Maintains patient safety and data integrity during imaging.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Utilizes AIDET to communicate with patients and ensures correct exam is performed.
• Prepares patient and area, adjusts equipment controls, and positions them for imaging.
• Maintains imaging records and documentation in accordance with department policies.
• Follows safety, infection control, and radiation policies; collaborates with engineers and radiologists.
