Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health in Round Rock, TX is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures supervised by a Radiologist, following established protocols to diagnose disease and injury.

You will communicate with patients using AIDET, prepare patients and equipment, adhere to safety and infection-control policies, and maintain imaging records and equipment per department standards.

Qualifications

• Education - H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
• Experience - Less than 1 Year of Experience
• Certification/License/Registration - ARMRIT/ARRT MR or ARRT R certifications required, ARMRIT accepted

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
• Utilizes AIDET to communicate with patients and establish rapport.
• Prepares the patient and area for the procedure by positioning the patient and adjusting equipment.
• Follows safety, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies to protect patients and staff.
• Maintains equipment and work area to meet quality standards and reports issues as needed.
• Maintains medical imaging records in the department's system and adheres to policies for timely interpretation.
