Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking a per diem MRI Technologist for Winchester Hospital locations in Massachusetts. The role supports imaging services with a patient-first approach and requires proficiency with MRI protocols and IV contrast.

Qualifications include MRI experience, ARRT/CPR certifications, and optional ARMRIT acceptance at some sites; call rotation and lifting requirements apply. Per diem schedule with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior MRI scanning experience required.
• MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications required; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.
• May sit at a computer for extended periods and assist patients with mobility.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies to ensure patient safety during exams.
• Explain exam steps to patients to their level of understanding.
• Position patients for comfort and safety during the scan.
• Administer intravenous contrast per protocol.
• Record exam data in the Tech Data Entry system.
• Provide films/CDs as needed and forward data to Radiologist.
• Assist clerical staff when required and maintain equipment.
• Adhere to credentialing policy and complete required training.
