Job summary

Shields Health Care Group is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist for per diem coverage at Winchester Hospital and Winchester Hospital - Unicorn Park campus in Woburn, MA. The role requires MRI scanning experience and ARRT certification with CPR; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.

You will follow protocols, position patients, administer contrast, and ensure safety and comfort throughout the exam. The position offers hourly pay in a per diem arrangement with benefits, and may require call

Qualifications

• Requires MRI scanning experience.
• Requires MRI/ARRT/CPR certifications; ARMRIT accepted at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Position patient and ensure comfort during exam; maintain patient contact.
• Perform scans per center protocol and administer intravenous contrast when indicated.
• Record data, provide films/CDs to Radiologist, and assist with data entry and filing.
• Clean and re-supply equipment and rooms; support clerical staff as needed.
