MRI Technologists are responsible for:

  1. Performing patient imaging and staying current with MRI procedures & protocols.
  2. Reviewing check-in documents for accurate patient medical histories.
  3. Providing basic patient care services as required.

Under the supervision of the Radiologist, the MRI Technologist operates MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body. Qualifications include:

  • 1-3 months of experience and/or training required
  • Satisfactory formal training in an approved program
  • ARRT (MR) certification required
