Job summary

Penn Medicine, part of the University of Pennsylvania Health System, is seeking a MR technologist to operate MR imaging for pediatric and adult patients under radiologist supervision. The role requires ensuring patient safety, screening for metal, and adhering to imaging protocols.

You will perform MR procedures, obtain histories, manage consents, review images, and maintain equipment. ARRT registration and MRI certification within 6 months are expected.

Qualifications

• Completion of a radiologic technology program with certificate/AS/BS.
• ARRT registration; board eligibility; MRI certification within 6 months.
• BCLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MR procedures following imaging protocols.
• Obtains patient history, explains the procedure and consents for contrast.
• Screens patients and staff for safety, maintains access control.
• Reviews images and prepares documentation for interpretation.
• Performs quality control and routine equipment maintenance.
