Qualifications

• ARRT license required or eligible; MRI Registry credentials required or to be obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• 3-5 years MRI experience preferred; Philips MRI equipment experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients for safety and prep for MRI as per protocol.
• Perform MRI procedures and adapt imaging to improve diagnostic quality.
• Scan and document patient information; transfer images to PACS and notify Radiologist.
• Ensure patient comfort and communicate risks and instructions.
• Maintain department coordination, schedule adherence, and on-call coverage.
• Maintain equipment and perform quality assurance per guidelines.
