Piedmont Atlanta Hospital seeks an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI examinations under physician supervision. You will position patients, select protocols, and ensure imaging quality while following ACR guidelines and delivering patient education across all age groups.

Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program and ARRT/RDMS certification required; BLS on hire. 6 months MRI experience preferred; competitive benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• None experience required, 6 months MRI experience preferred.
• AR DMS or ARRT Radiographer Registered upon hire required and BLS upon hire required.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates competence in performing all MRI procedures on patients of all ages, positions patient, selects protocol, and uses imaging equipment.
• Maintains competencies in non-scanner related components.
• Follows established imaging protocols for each exam.
• Performs quality control procedures per ACR guidelines.
• Provides age-appropriate patient care and education per standards.
• Able to position and operate imaging equipment for all age groups on radiologic exams when requested.
