Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist to join the imaging team. You will perform diagnostic MRI exams, position patients of all ages, and follow established imaging protocols under supervision.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• No experience required; 6 months as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• AR DMS or ARRT - Radiographer Registered by the ARRT, and BCLS - Basic Life Support required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in performing MRI procedures on patients of all age groups.
• Positions patient and selects correct protocol for exam.
• Follows established imaging protocols and ensures patient safety.
• Performs quality control procedures in line with standards.
• Provides patient education and clear communication.
