Job summary

RadNet in Edison, NJ is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality imaging services. You will perform MRI exams, ensure patient safety, administer contrast, and adjust imaging parameters to optimize results while guiding patients through the process with care.

The candidate will need ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, state license if applicable, and BLS. Prior diagnostic imaging experience is preferred in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other parameters to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process by explaining steps and answering questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
