The candidate will position patients, explain procedures, operate MRI equipment, and maintain accurate records while adhering to HIPAA and OSHA training requirements. Strong communication and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification obtained before hire or transfer date and renewal required.
• ARRT MRI credential before hire date or transfer date.
• One year of Radiologic Imaging experience required.
• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Successful ARRT accredited MRI program completion required.
• Proficiency in English communications for patient care and documentation.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, professional environment.
• Willing to participate in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients; select parameters to produce cross-sectional images.
• Educate patients to ensure safety and comfort during exams.
• Operate magnetic imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Record and maintain patient data and treatment records; generate reports as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and follow HIPAA/OSHA guidelines.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and follow physician directions.
• Participate in required meetings and professional affiliations.
