Associates In Medical Imaging, LLC is seeking a skilled MRI technologist to perform MRI examinations and deliver patient care, ensuring efficient operation of the MRI unit and maintaining clinical excellence. You will promote continuity of care and contribute to high-quality imaging.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating MRI equipment, screening contraindications, and coordinating with radiologists and clinicians to ensure accurate, timely imaging and safe patient handling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiological health applied science program.
• ARRT registered.
• Requires minimum of three (3) years MRI experience.

Responsabilités

• Required to accurately obtain signatures and complete site-specific patient consents and insurance demographic information.
• Prepares and educates patients about their MRI procedure.
• Screen patients for contraindications to magnetic field.
• Prepares patient for MRI procedure by accurately assessing patient's signs and symptoms.
• Operates MRI scanner for data acquisition, reconstruction of images, and documentation of images.
• Performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal image quality.
• Prepare images for transmission and/or filming for interpretation by a radiologist.
• Practice accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
• Practice safety measures in MRI and Environment of Care.
• Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice.
• Performs other related duties as required.

This role supports the efficient operation of the MRI department by applying sound clinical judgment, following established imaging protocols, maintaining a safe MRI environment, and collaborating with radiologists, referring providers, and other members of the healthcare team.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment and follow approved protocols to produce diagnostic-quality images.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher from an accredited radiologic technology, magnetic resonance imaging, or related allied health program.
• Current certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); MRI credential preferred or required in accordance with organizational policy.
• Minimum of three years of MRI experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, if required by site policy.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, accreditation, and organizational requirements.
  
  

Physical And Environmental Requirements

• Ability to move independently throughout the imaging environment and work in confined or limited spaces.
• Ability to assist with the safe transfer and transport of patients using wheelchairs, stretchers, and other approved equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and remain in position for extended periods as required by patient care and equipment operation.
• Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to position patients, evaluate images, operate equipment, and monitor patients throughout procedures.
• Ability to work safely in a controlled MRI environment with exposure to strong magnetic fields, radiofrequency energy, acoustic noise, and approved cleaning products.
