Job summary

Jeanes Hospital in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Part-Time MRI Technologist with rotating shifts. You will perform MRI studies, operate the MRI scanner, and ensure patient comfort throughout the procedure.

ARRT MR certification must be obtained within 2 years from date of hire; High School diploma or equivalent required; prior Radiology Technologist experience preferred. Part-time, 8 hours weekly with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality. Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions patient, coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure. American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Non-Degree Program from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. Required

Experience

• 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required
• 1 year experience in CT or MRI Preferred

Licenses
