Job summary

Temple Health's JEANES Campus in Northeast Philadelphia seeks an MRI Technologist for part-time with rotating shifts. You will perform MRI studies, operate the scanner, and prepare the room per radiologist protocols.

Requirements include ARRT MR certification within 2 years of hire, a high school diploma, and completion of an AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate. At least 1 year of radiology technologist experience; MRI experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Non Degree Program from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. Required
• 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required
• 1 year experience in CT or MRI Preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists.
• Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality.
• Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate.
• Positions patient, coils and equipment as required.
• Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure.
