Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to perform MRI studies following Radiologists' protocols. You will operate the MRI scanner, prepare the scan room, position patients and coils, and maintain clear communication throughout the procedure.

ARRT MR certification is required within 2 years from date of hire, with at least 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience. Licensure and BLS are also expected as part of the role.

Job Duties

Performs MRI studies following set protocol established by the Radiologists. Operates the MRI scanner to produce images of consistent optimal quality. Prepares scan room and equipment as appropriate. Positions patient, coils and equipment as required. Maintains communication with the patient throughout the scanning procedure. American Registry of Radiologists (ARRT) MR certification required within 2 years from date of hire.

Education

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Non-Degree Program from a approved AMA Radiologic Technology program or MRI certificate program. Required

Experience

• 1 year experience as a Radiology Technologist Required
• 1 Year Experience In CT Or MRI Preferred

• Reg Technologist (MR) Required
• Basic Life Support Required
